About Us
Hamilton Bull Sharks is a summer league swim team that has provided a unique summer activity for the community’s youth since 2018. The team was founded by Codie Brooks, a former Texas A&M swimmer. With a desire to have her own children gain confidence in the water and experience competitive swimming, she created a team that teaches beginners to advanced level swimmers the 4 competitive strokes, all aspects of racing, and fosters team building and dedication.
The mission of the team is to instill a life-long love of swimming and create unforgettable memories at the pool.
In 2025 the Hamilton city pool did not open to the public due to necessary needed repairs. In order to not miss a season of swim team, the team moved all practices to the Tarleton Aquatic Center in Stephenville. It provided opportunity for great growth and swimmers loved getting to use this elite facility.
The Hamilton pool will not open again in 2026, therefore practices will continue to be held at the Tarleton University Aquatic Center in Stephenville. The facility offers 25 yard lap lanes and starting blocks, and is one of the premier pools in the central Texas area.
Meets will be in McGregor with the Centex League, and also in Bryan and College Station for the TAAF League this summer. Participation in meets is not required, but highly encouraged.
